The FM-MK3 is an integrated microcontroller for MIDI keyboard applications. A minimum of external components is required to build a full-featured four-zone MIDI master keyboard for consumer or professional use.
All master keyboard functions may be quickly and easily accessed with 10 switches and two control sliders. Three LED digits are used to display the current preset number and zone parameters.
Analog inputs are provided for pitch, modulation, aftertouch sensor, voltage pedal, and control sliders. An external nonvolatile memory provides storage for 32 presets. Preset memory may be loaded or saved via MIDI system-exclusive messages.
A single +5V supply is required. The on-chip clock generator is controlled by an external crystal.
